Description Travel Bk Club ED. 213pp. 12 b/w plates & 7 illus. good cond. dj fair cond, chipped on edges, laminated. The author went with Captain Cousteau to explore the Red Sea bed, and his descriptions of under-sea are very good. He climbed the volcano Nyiragongo, and spent a night at the bottom of its crater. He tested at Lake Tanganyika a theory of his that crocodiles are cowards, and will not attack a man under water. Of great interest in this book are all the incidents along the way.
