The story of Sir William Phip's discovery of treasure off the north coast of Hispaniola (today the Dominican Republic) on the 1641 shipwreck of the Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion. It then goes on to tell the story of an American team who in 1978 located the wreck and salvaged more treasure. The author also visited the wreck site and adds a postscript. |
