Size 37cm x 23cm (14" x 9"). The French submarines Emeraude which travels chiefly beneath the surface and the Pluviose which travels chiefly on the surface were to compete in an 800 mile race. The race was to start and finished at Cherbourg and the course was to Brest and Dunkirk. |
